West Cottage is suitably equipped and furnished to provide everything necessary for you to be able to make the most of your holiday at West Cottage.
West Cottage is equipped with central heating throughout and this can be supplemented by a real log fire, ideal for those cooler spring or autumn evenings. Sufficient logs and kindling are provided for an average weeks usage. Since West Cottage was built around the 17th Century it has walls that are twelve inches thick and as a result visitors find it retains the warmth in winter as well as remaining cool on hot summer days.
Basic provisions such as groceries, milk, coffee, tea, and sugar will be available at West Cottage upon your arrival. Additional provisions required upon arival (for example if you expect to arrive late in the day) can be ordered by prior arrangement.
You can also buy your own fresh produce locally - there is an excellent butcher in Stow-on-the-Wold and a fishmonger who delivers fresh fish and seafood from the coast, the next day (we can provide further details of this service upon request).
A list of the many fine restaurants and pubs is provided as part of the visitor information at the cottage.
A Television, Video and DVD player are all available at West Cottage in case of a rainy day during your stay.
